Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have been available on Nintendo Switch for a few weeks now, and since launch, many concerns have been raised about the game’s technical issues. While the ninth generation is a step in the right direction for the series with its new open-world gameplay, performance issues and bugs made it quite difficult for some trainers to enjoy.
Now, in an update, Nintendo has announced that a new update for Scarlet and Violet will be released on December 1st (aka today). In addition to the full patch notes on the official support page, it also apologized for the game’s issues and mentioned how it’s taking player feedback and aims to provide trainers around the world with a “positive experience”.
🇧🇷We are aware that players may encounter issues that affect game performance. Our goal is always to provide players with a positive experience with our games and we apologize for the inconvenience. We take player feedback seriously and are working on improvements to the games.”
As for the update (version 1.1.0), players can expect Season 1 of the game’s Ranked Battles, a music fix, and “other select bug fixes” that aren’t detailed:
To see. 1.1.0 (released December 1, 2022)
– Season 1 of Ranked Battles will begin, allowing you to enjoy Ranked Battles in the Battle Stadium.
– Check the in-game notice for more details on Ranked Battles Season 1.
– Fixed an issue that caused the music not to play correctly during battles with the Elite Four and Top Champion on the Victory Road path.
– Other selected bug fixes have been made.
