O FIFA World Cup 2022 continued on Tuesday with Group B in the spotlight. The United States (1-2-0) beat Iran (1-0-2) by 1-0 at Al Thumama Stadium, in Doha. The USA will play the Netherlands in the Round of 16; Iran was eliminated as a result.

Weah nearly scored a double, but the side referee called his goal offside.

The United States dominated possession in the first half, winning the battle for possession 61% to 39%. It also defeated Iran 9-0 in the first 45 minutes.

Pulisic finished the first half but was unable to continue in the second half. Aaronson will play left winger in his place.
